8:30-8:45am: Opening/Welcome Remarks

8:45-10:45am: Termination of Guardianship (Solano Superior Court Judge G. Ichikawa)

10:45-11am: Break

11am-12:30pm: Termination of Parental Rights for Stepparent Adoption (Solano Superior Court Judge G. Ichikawa)

12:30-1pm: Lunch

1-2pm: Termination of Parental Rights for Stepparent Adoption (cont.)

2-4pm: Interviewing Children, Teens & Special Populations (Solano Superior Court Child Custody Recommending Counselor Deanna Re, MFT and Team of Solano Superior Court Mediators)

4pm: Evaluations/Distribution of Certificates of Completion


Cost: $25.00 for CASCI members. $50.00 for non-members. Lunch included. Cap: 50 attendees.

Golden Quill Award  & Scholarship Information 

Golden Quill Award: Nominations are being accepted for the annual Golden Quill award that is awarded each year at the annual conference. The deadline to nominate someone for their contributions to CASCI and court investigator practice is April 1. Download form here: Golden Quill Nomination Form 

Scholarship:Each year CASCI awards scholarships to one or more CASCI members to attend the annual conference.  This year we are pleased to announce we will award four scholarships, one from each region.  The scholarship covers the conference fee only so the member must pay his or her own hotel and transportation.  You must be a member in good standing to apply for a scholarship.  If you are interested in applying, please email the CASCI President. The deadline to apply is March 3 and the CASCI board will make a decision and notify applicants by March 15. In your email please let us know why you need a scholarship and how it will benefit you.
